About AAA

Africa Agriculture Agenda (AAA) is a subsidiary of The Surveillance Media Limited (TSML). The project was birthed to find a win-win solution between Africa and the rest of the world in agribusiness. Africa countries like Ghana, Cot Devoirs and Nigeria are ready examples: Ghana and Cot Devoirs have been top cocoa producing nations for decades but smallholder farmers of cocoa in these countries are still in abject poverty, while top chocolate factories are located in the West. In 2018, Nigeria was ranked among top three yam exporting countries into the United States of America, but the statistic has no positive economic bearing on the lives of smallholder yam farmers in Nigeria. Meanwhile, a particular species of Nigerian yam contains sixty-five percent of water, a product the country’s pharmaceutical sector spend so much importing. The African Economy is currently getting less due to its agricultural approach and we believe things can change for the best. So far, AAA has three regional Directors in Nigeria, East Africa, Country Directors in Ethiopia, Malawi, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Uganda, United States of America, United Kingdom, Zambia and Zimbabwe, and more are coming. The former official website of AAA www.africaagricagenda.com went live on Friday June 8, 2018. We recently changed it to www.africaagriculrureagenda.com because the former was making it difficult for people to find us online, particularly on Google.

    Identify global markets where African farm produces are in high demand, promote exportation and facilitate intra-trade among African countries Our objective is to work with export departments of African countries through the Country Directors to facilitate exportation of African produces to outside the continent where such is in high demand. We are the Convener of Pan African Senior Secondary School Agricultural Debate (PASSSAD) To increase Forex earnings and GDP of African countries through agriculture .

    Overview

    Our 156-page magazine, Africa’s first international of such in agriculture was formally presented to the public in a ceremony on March 23, 2019 at The Patron Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria and has since attracted overwhelming commendation from the agriculture fraternity and beyond. For immediate international visibility, we are in partnership with Rome Business School (RBS) to place copies of the magazine at strategic locations in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, USA, Cameroon, Canada, India, China, among other countries.
